Trojan Footprint 2026 begins at Krivolak

Skopje, 11 May 2026 (MIA) — Trojan Footprint 2026, the largest NATO Special Operations Forces exercise in Europe, began Monday at the Krivolak army training ground, the Army said in a press release.
The exercise, which runs through May 22, is taking place at multiple locations across Europe. At Krivolak, members of the Army are training alongside special forces units from the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

More than 3,000 NATO allied and partner troops are participating in Trojan Footprint 2026. The military drill aims to improve interoperability, strengthen international cooperation and increase capacity for joint operations.
As part of the exercise, two teams from the Wolves Special Forces Battalion are also deployed to Greece. There, they will undergo reassessment in line with NATO Special Operations Forces Evaluation procedures. mr/
