Skopje, 26 April 2026 (MIA) - Maintaining the stability and security of our Macedonian Denar is a top priority, says Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska.

"Today, we are observing 34 years of monetary independence and existence of the Macedonian Denar, which has faced many challenges and turned into a stable and safe currency. Maintaining this stability and security of our Macedonian is a top priority and a foundation for economic stability," FinMin Dimitrieska Kochoska wrote in a Facebook post.

That is why, she adds, the Ministry of Finance is firmly committed to maintaining the macroeconomic and fiscal stability as grounds for higher economic growth, more investments and better living standard for citizens.
