Skopje, 14 May 2026 (MIA) - In March 2026, 73,921 tourists spent 134,233 overnight stays, the State Statistical Office said.

In March 2026, 19.7% were domestic tourists, and 80.3% were foreign tourists.

The number of nights spent in March 2026 was 134,233, of which 26.5% were realised by domestic and the other 73.5% by foreign tourists.

In the period January – March 2026, compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists increased by 5.2%: the number of domestic tourists increased by 1.3%, while that of foreign tourists increased by 6.9%.

In the period January - March 2026, compared to the same period last year, the number of nights spent decreased by 0.3%: the number of nights spent by domestic tourists decreased by 1.2%, while those by foreign tourists increased by 0.2%.
