- The call for selection of a contractor for the three capital projects in the field of health - the hospitals in Shtip, Kichevo and Tetovo - has been closed and the Government will evaluate the bids in the coming week, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.
Kichevo, 15 May 2026 (MIA) - The call for selection of a contractor for the three capital projects in the field of health - the hospitals in Shtip, Kichevo and Tetovo - has been closed and the Government will evaluate the bids in the coming week, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.
"Projects in the health sector are part of the strategic partnership with the United Kingdom. The Ministry of Finance issued an international call, with UK Export Finance providing the guarantees. The call has ended, the bids have been submitted, and we will evaluate them next week," PM Mickoski told reporters in Kichevo.
Mickoski said the investment would be implemented in two stages, the first being the construction of the Clinical Hospital in Shtip, along with the Faculty of Medical Sciences and its dormitory, followed by the Kichevo Health Center and the rehabilitation of the Tetovo Clinical Hospital. The second stage of the project involves the Skopje-based Clinical Center.
"The projects will be realized once the evaluation is complete and the best bidder is chosen," said Mickoski.
