Siljanovska-Davkova receives credentials of new Armenian Ambassador, Hambardzumyan

Skopje, 30 April 2026 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova received Thursday the credentials of Tsovinar Hambardzumyan, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, who is based in Sofia.
At the event, the President expressed her satisfaction over the appointment of the new Ambassador, just ahead of her participation in the European Political Community’s Summit in Yerevan. Siljanovska-Davkova stressed this would be the first time a Macedonian president visits the Republic of Armenia and marks the beginning of a new era in bilateral relations.

She stressed the relations between the two countries are based on a shared commitment to peace, progress, and prosperity.

Ambassador Hambardzumyan assessed the relations between the two countries as successful due to mutual respect, shared values, and a joint commitment to dialogue, stability, and international cooperation.
The Ambassador expressed her readiness to personally contribute to the improvement of political dialogue between the countries, as well as the enhancement of cooperation in the economy, culture, and all other areas of mutual interest,
