Skopje, 16 October 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi is paying a working visit to Berlin Wednesday through Friday, alongside the Parliament's Secretary General Marina Dimovska. 

The visit is primarily organized for the purpose of looking at possibilities to continue the cooperation between the two parliaments, within the Parliamentary Support Program, as well as expanding the possibilities for cooperation in other areas of mutual interest, the Parliament said in a press release. 

The visit's agenda also includes meetings with the German Minister for Europe and Climate, Anna Luhrmann, the President of the Bundestag, Bärbel Bas, the Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs, Anton Hofreiter, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Michael Roth, and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group for Relations with the States of South-Eastern Europe, Dirk Vöpel.
