Skopje, 16 October 2024 (MIA) — Three people were killed and five were injured in a traffic accident on the highway from Skopje to Veles on Wednesday evening, when a van rolled over in front of a tunnel, the Interior Ministry told MIA.

The collision was reported at 5:45 pm. Police officers, forensic experts and prosecutors are investigating at the site of the crash.

The five survivors have been taken to hospital. 

Both highway lanes have been blocked due to the accident. A detour route has been set up via the Petrovec – Veles road through Miladinovci, Sveti Nikole, Veles, and Shtip. mr/
