Skopje, 10 January 2025 (MIA) - Parliament is set to begin its 29th session on Friday, with five motions of no confidence on the agenda. Four of the motions, submitted by MPs from the European Front, are against Deputy Prime Ministers Izet Mexhiti and Ivan Stoiljkovikj, Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, and his deputy Astrit Iseni from DUI. On December 26, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi said each no confidence motion will be discussed separately and discussions may last the whole day depending on how many MPs will take the podium. They, however, will have to vote by the end of the day.
“Each no confidence motion is discussed a whole day, in fact, it depends on how many MPs will take the podium. The session may last, but MPs have to vote for each no confidence motion by the end of the day, and they will vote for every motion separately,” he stated.
