Not a fan of censorship or threats, Macedonia is a sacred name, says PM

Skopje, 19 December 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Friday that Macedonia is a sacred name for him and added that he is free to say what he thinks, when asked about reactions coming from Greece regarding the use of the country's name.
"I am not a fan of cencorship or threats. For me, Macedonia is a sacred name and I am free to say what I think," PM Mickoski told reporters.
Regarding the Law on Fair Representation, which the Venice Commission has assessed positively, the PM said it would soon reach the Parliament.
