Skopje, 19 December 2025 (MIA) - Two companies from Turkey and Germany have confirmed they will invest in Macedonia, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Friday.

PM Mickoski said the two companies from the high-tech sector will invest about EUR 80 million and open about 1,000 jobs, while adding that at least three more companies are expected to confirm their investments by the year-end.

"The exports of the two companies set to invest in the country will exceed EUR 200 million," Mickoski told reporters.

According to him, talks for investments by foreign companies will continue in 2026.

"Support to domestic companies is our priority but we also welcome foreign businesses that want to invest here. We want to diversify the portfolio and have more high-tech investments, not only the automotive industry," said Mickoski.
