Skopje, 9 January 2025 (MIA) — Hospitality industry prices of food, beverages, and lodging in 2024 were 5.6% higher than in 2023, according to the latest figures released by the State Statistical Office.

By groups of hospitality industry services, food prices in 2024 rose by 3.1%, alcoholic beverage prices rose by 5.2%, non-alcoholic beverage prices rose by 5.6%, and lodging prices rose by 14.9% compared to 2023, the SSO press release says.

Compared to December 2023, the hospitality industry price index in December 2024 cumulatively rose by 6.1%. And compared to November 2024, hospitality industry prices in December 2024 were up by 0.6%. mr/
