Skopje, 30 April 2026 (MIA) - The Government said Thursday that following talks with the OKTA oil refinery towards easing price pressure on citizens and the economy, the fuel discount is being extended until May 18, 2026.

This is a measure that ensures reduction in retail prices, with a Mden 3 per liter discount on diesel fuel and Mden 2 per liter on gasoline fuels.  

The Government notes that it remains committed to taking timely and effective measures to protect the citizens' living standard, particularly amid imported price crisis and global energy challenges.

"In coordination with the competent institutions and economic operators, we will continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly, in order to ensure stability and predictability in the market. Care for citizens and support for the economy remain our top priority," said the Government.
