Skopje, 9 December 2025 (MIA) - A country's future depends on its ability to build clean institutions, with integrity and accountability, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi said on International Anti-Corruption Day.
Gashi pointed out that this day is not only a symbol, but a serious reminder not to forget that the fight against corruption cannot be fought in isolation and is not limited to laws only.
"The fight against corruption requires a culture of integrity, personal example, political responsibility and social awareness. It is prevented and overcome when we reject indifference. Therefore, the mission belongs to all of us, to build a state where justice, transparency and integrity are not abstract aspirations, but the only way of functioning," said Gashi.
