Skopje, 13 December 2025 (MIA) – The Evzoni (Bogorodica) border crossing has been closed to traffic as of 11 am on Saturday, the Auto-Moto Association of Macedonia (AMSM) reported.

AMSM also reports that there are no long delays at the border crossings on the Macedonian side for entering or exiting the country.

Mainly dry roads are reported nationwide, with moderate traffic outside urban areas and no delays at border crossings.

As of Nov. 15, 2025, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2026.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
