Earthquake registered in Albania, felt in North Macedonia’s northwest
Skopje, 24 January 2025 (MIA) – An earthquake measuring III degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale was felt in North Macedonia’s northwest on Friday at 2:39 pm.
Skopje-based Seismological Observatory said the earthquake was registered 173 km west of Skopje, with the epicentre in Albania, measuring IV degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale.
“The earthquake was felt in the country’s northwest, measuring III degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale,” the Seismological Observatory said on Friday.
