Ambassador of Kazakhstan visits Goce Delchev University
- The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov visited Wednesday Shtip's Goce Delchev University to give a lecture and meet with rector Dejan Mirakovski, MIA's Shtip correspondent reports.
Shtip, 10 December 2025 (MIA) — The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov visited Wednesday Shtip's Goce Delchev University to give a lecture and meet with rector Dejan Mirakovski, MIA's Shtip correspondent reports.
Ambassador Burshakov said his visit was one in a series of visits and meetings aimed at establishing cooperation of interest to both countries.
He said he would present Kazakhstan and its foreign policy and cultural heritage "to young people, to the university students, so in the future universities from Kazakhstan can cooperate with Goce Delchev University."
He added that the opening of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Skopje had intensified the countries' dialogue at the political level.
Burshakov recalled that President Gordana Siljanoska Davkova had been on an official visit to Kazakhstan, where she met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and participated in the Astana International Forum. "Ministers Timcho Mucunski and Sanja Bozhinovska also visited," he said.
He said Kazakhstan was primarily interested in boosting business ties and had already formed an intergovernmental commitee on economic and trade cooperation.
"In the future, we are planning a business forum in Skopje and a meeting of the intergovernmental committee in Kazakhstan," he said, adding that Kazakhstan was especially interested in supporting and promoting business partnerships. mr/
