Skopje, 8 November 2025 (MIA) - Macedonian agricultural producers are part of Saturday's food fair held in Skopje. High quality local agricultural products, including wine, organic juice, honey, cheese, and donkey milk among other are showcased at the City Park. 

"This fair reflects Macedonian history, a place where tradition is brought closer to every citizen. Today, here you can taste the true, authentic, traditional taste of Macedonian food. This food is produced in our fields and processed by the hands of Macedonian farmers," Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Cvetan Tripunovski, told the opening of the event. 

He said that local food is not a trend, but rather our heritage, adding that at a time when the world is returning to authenticity and the organic, the country has all the predispositions to be a leader in the production of high quality traditional food.

Tripunovski mentioned the Macedonian Best campaign, noting that as of October, a total of 272 users have been registered and verified, of which 121 were agricultural producers, 40 processors and 111 points of sale.

"This number reveals the interest of farmers and processors to get involved in the campaign and get closer to buyers, offering high-quality products," he said. 

The event is organized by the association "Our Tradition, Our Future" with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.
