Silent march in Kochani: Revolution for a change of collective mindset

Kochani, 23 March 2025 (MIA) - The citizens of Kochani held Sunday an hour-long silent march in honor of the victims of last week's nightclub fire.
Under the slogan "Silence speaks volumes", the procession went through the streets of Kochani and finished its path in front of the municipal building.
March participants thanked all countries who are treating fire victims, while telling national institutions that the protests and gatherings are not held to topple the authorities but to serve as a call for a change of the way in which the state system is operating.
"The people of Kochani have always been reasonable and rational, but the problem is the rotten and dysfunctional system. If you raise your voice for justice, you get fired, framed, imprisoned. The system has not been working for 30 years. We do not seek a revolution for a power change but one for a change of our mindset. Let's get back to our senses and stop partisan divisions, let's create a normal society," said participants.
