Skopje, 6 April 2025 (MIA) — The members of the Standing Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on a visit to our country, together with Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, toured Sunday the Ilinden army barracks in Skopje. 

According to an official press release, the visitors were welcomed by the country's Chief of Defense Maj. Gen. Sashko Lafchiski, army generals and representatives of the Ministry of Defense. 

During the visit, members of the NATO PA Standing Committee had the opportunity to watch several drill performances, showcasing the training of army members in performing complex scenarios, the release said. 

"Our place in the Alliance is the result of decades of work, and our future is built on the principles of collective defense, solidarity and cooperation," Lafchiski is quoted as saying in the release. mr/
