Skopje, 12 March 2025 (MIA) - As part of the first official visit to Baku, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Wednesday with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The two expressed satisfaction with the meeting reaffirming excellent bilateral relations between the two countries. 

Talks focused on relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Azerbaijan at bilateral and multilateral levels, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release. 

Interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of relations development, highlighting opportunities for deepening cooperation, with a particular focus on the economy, investments, trade, energy and tourism.

The Ministers agreed that the excellent political cooperation between the two countries is a strong basis for strengthening diplomatic and economic relations in the coming period. 

In addition, Mucunski and Bayramov signed Visa Waiver Agreement for diplomatic and service passport holders, enhancing mobility and institutional cooperation.
