Skopje, 8 March 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Saturday that the budget for agricultural subsidies, payments, and discipline are at an all-time high, with past debts settled and current payments on time.

“Over the past couple of weeks, about 240 million denars in subsidies were paid to those engaged in livestock farming and beekeeping. I believe this will continue in the coming period, and that farmers will receive what they deserve on time,” Mickoski said during his visit to Sveti Nikole.

Mickoski reminded that tobacco farmers have received a historic price of 400 denars for their tobacco.

"All of it was purchased as first category, and they also got an additional 100 denars in subsidies," Mickoski said, adding that the harvest exceeded 21 million kilograms.
