Skopje, 11 February 2026 (MIA) - Macedonian Railways-Infrastructure and Turkish State Railways have signed a cooperation agreement, Railways Infrastructure director Sinisha Ivanovski said in a Facebook post.  

"We signed an agreement for close cooperation with Turkish State Railways. Alongside colleagues from Macedonian Railways-Infrastructure, we held working meetings with the Turkish State Railways director Veysi Kurt and his associates. Turkish State Railways see major, rapid and visible progress in the area of infrastructure. Among other, they are already a serious regional training center. In signing the agreement, they are making some of their capacities available," said Ivanovski. 

The exchange of experience and practices, Ivanovski added, will be a benefit for the country in the coming period.
