Siljanovska-Davkova meets representatives of Women in Tech Macedonia
- President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Wednesday with representatives of Women in Tech – Macedonia, an organization that is a part of the Women in Tech global initiative, which encourages inclusion, diversity, and equality of women in STEM professions.
Skopje, 11 February 2026 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Wednesday with representatives of Women in Tech – Macedonia, an organization that is a part of the Women in Tech global initiative, which encourages inclusion, diversity, and equality of women in STEM professions.

According to the President’s Office, the representatives informed the President their activities are mainly focused on educating unemployed young women who are still weighing their options about choosing a profession. The Women in Tech community pursues its goals through training programs, mentorships, and conferences, with the aim of reducing gender inequality in STEM careers.
“Congratulating them on receiving the special IMPACT Award at last year’s global Women in Tech Summit in Osaka, Japan, the President emphasized that the award is a testament to their international competitiveness, success, and dedication. She expressed her belief that within every woman lies boundless energy and untapped knowledge, which, when harnessed, can overcome even the most complex challenges,” Siljanovska-Davkova's Office said in a press release.

At the meeting, the President voiced her readiness to support Women in Tech’s campaign to include women and girls in science.
