Skopje, 14 November 2025 (MIA) – The government is stable. The landslide victory in the local elections showed this government has clear and unwavering support and the backbone in the incumbent government is VMRO-DPMNE and its coalition. The time for politics has ended. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work because a lot needs to be done, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Friday.

He confirmed that there are talks to fill the vacant government posts after the local elections, which also involve a reshuffle, saying they are ongoing. “I couldn’t share anything else for now. It isn’t over until its over,” the PM told reporters.

Mickoski also said that January 11 is the date considered most suitable for holding repeated mayoral elections in Gostivar, Centar Zhupa, Vrapchishte and Mavrovo Rostushe.
