Skopje, 23 November 2025 (MIA) - The Government has said that as of Saturday, 33,682 students vouchers, each worth Mden 15,300 (EUR 250), were allocated. Of them, 11,500 students have already collected their new electronic devices.

"These numbers clearly show that the interest is enormous, the implementation is stable, and the measure is producing real results," Government Spokeswoman Marija Miteva told a press conference on Sunday.

Miteva said the measure is planned carefully and implemented in cooperation with the competent ministries.

"This measure is neither a coincidence nor an improvisation. It is precisely and timely planned by the Government's General Secretariat, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Education and Science. This institutional coordination ensures fast procedures, clear criteria, a technically harmonized system for allocation and realization of the vouchers, and high degree of transparency," added Miteva.

According to her, the objective is to reduce the digital inequality and stimulate digital transformation in education.

"The Government has shown that investments in knowledge, technology and youth is our priority, whereas the delivery on our promise is a proof that the state works for the citizens. We are reducing digital inequality and stimulating digital transformation," noted Miteva.
