Skopje, 2 December 2025 (MIA) - The Finance Ministry has transferred Mden 785 million (EUR 12.7 million) from the central budget to the Development Bank, as the seventh tranche from the funds aimed at encouraging private sector investments in the amount of around EUR 300 million.

“With this tranche, the amount the state has injected into the domestic economy in support of investments exceeds EUR 200 million. EUR 190.5 million were paid out through the previous six tranches,” the Ministry said in a press release Tuesday.

The Ministry said the funds projected in the 2025 Budget at the level of EUR 250 million were secured under favorable conditions from the Hungarian Export-Import Bank and are also being placed under favorable conditions to domestic companies. The annual interest rate amounts to 1.95 percent, with a repayment period of up to 15 years and a grace period of up to 3 years.
