Skopje, 5 May 2026 (MIA) - Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Muamet Hoxha met Tuesday with Kosovo counterpart Fitore Pacolli on the sidelines of the 5th Istanbul International Water Forum.

Ministers Hoxha and Pacolli discussed the opportunities for enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the field of environment and water resource management, as well as joint approach to regional challenges related to climate change, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release.

It adds that Hoxha and Pacolli highlighted the importance of implementing European standards and exchanging experiences.

Interlocutors expressed commitment for enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the coming period through joint initiatives and projects that would contribute to sustainable management of natural resources and environment protection in the region.
