Shtip, 10 November 2025 (MIA) - The European Commission’s Report on North Macedonia is a real encouragement to continue the implementation of reforms in certain sector, said French Ambassador Christophe Le Rigoleur on Monday when asked by journalists to comment on the Report.

“It is very balanced, with very positive elements and with less positive elements. But it also represents an encouragement to continue on the path of reforms and with a special emphasis on strengthening the rule of law, independent judiciary, and the fight against corruption – topics that are important for all our societies. From that point of view, the Report is very useful, and it truly reflects the priorities in our cooperation, because France is closely cooperating in these sectors – strengthening the administration, independence in the judiciary... To sum up, I will say it is a real encouragement to encourage the implementation of reforms in certain sectors,” Le Rigoleur said in Shtip.
