Skopje, 21 February 2025 (MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in December 2024 was Mden 43,587, a 9.0 percent increase compared to the same month in the previous year, said the State Statistical Office on Friday. 

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Administrative and support
service activities (13.2%), Transportation and storage (12.3%) and Mining and quarrying (12.0%). 

An increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Mining
and quarrying (13.4%), Administrative and support service activities, Construction (7.0%) and Financial and insurance activities (5.6%). 

The average monthly gross wage paid per employee in December 2024 was Mden 65,582.
