Skopje, 7 March 2025 (MIA) - The Council of Public Prosecutors elected Friday new prosecutors at 10 public prosecution offices nationwide. The candidate for the offices in Gostivar and Kichevo failed to receive the necessary number of votes, while there were no candidates in five public prosecution offices.

Of the elected prosecutors, 14 were elected at the Skopje Primary Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The Council elected one public prosecutor each to the PPOs in Bitola, Gevgelija, Delchevo, Ohrid and Strumica.

The Council elected one public prosecutor each to the PPOs in Kumanovo, Prilep and Shtip elected two prosecutors each, while three new prosecutors were elected to the PPO in Tetovo.

There were no candidates in the running for the PPOs in Kriva Palanka, Veles, Struga, Kochani, Radovish.
