Skopje, 13 August 2025 (MIA) - A total of 19 wildfires were reported across the country by 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Two are still burning, three have been put under control, and fourteen have been extinguished, the Crisis Management Centre (CMC) said.

According to the CMC, the fire located in the Jasen National Park in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where mixed forest is burning, and the bushfire at Oktishka Krasta in the municipality of Struga are still active. 

Fires in the municipalities of Saraj, Arachinovo, and Demir Hisar are under control. 

Fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Kichevo, Kriva Palanka, Tetovo, Brvenica, Gostivar, Mogila, Bitola, Delchevo, Lipkovo, Makedonski Brod, and Struga.
