Andonovski: Investing in tech parks means investing in ideas, talents, future

Skopje, 10 May 2026 (MIA) - Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski addressed the opening of the first technology park in the country – N99 Deep Tech Park, a space that aims to connect technology, innovations, science, the startup community, and institutions in a joint development ecosystem, the Ministry of Digital Transformation said in a press release Sunday.

According to the Ministry, the N99 Deep Tech Park is conceived as a modern hub for encouraging a new technological revolution, with a focus on artificial intelligence, deep tech, robotics, cybersecurity, and practical use of innovations. The park is expected to be a place where students, researchers, entrepreneurs, companies, and institutions can cooperate, develop solutions, and create technologies with domestic value and global potential.

In his address, Minister Andonovski said the opening of such a space represents a significant step for the development of the Macedonian tech and innovation ecosystem.

“At a time when countries are competing through knowledge, innovations, and technological capacity, the creation of such spaces is much more than an investment in infrastructure. It is an investment in ideas, talents, and the future. What especially encourages me is the fact that this initiative is led by domestic vision and entrepreneurship,” Andonovski said.

The Minister stressed that such initiatives are important for the creation of an environment in which tech companies can grow, startups develop, while also giving a chance to young and talented people to realize their ideas at home.
