Skopje, 12 April 2026 (MIA) - Easter is a symbol of salvation, said SDSM leader Venko Filipche in an Easter greeting.

“Easter is a symbol of salvation, a holiday that marks the end of Christ’s suffering – a holiday that gives us strengths and hope for new and better beginnings to face challenges, Filipche said.

The victory of life over deaths, which is symbolized by this holiday, he added, is a strong message that even in the hardest of times, light and hope always win.

“This great Christian holiday gives spiritual strengths and calls for goodness, humanity and unity – values that are the roadmap for a just society and solidarity. With hopes for new beginnings, may we overcome every challenge and create a future our citizens deserve. May Easter bring good health, spiritual peace and well-being in every home,” concluded Filipche in the Easter greeting.
