Skopje, 17 February 2026 (MIA) - The memorandum of cooperation, signed by Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources Sanja Bozhinovska with representatives of CFS Media & Advisory DOO, which includes the Balkan Green Energy News portal and the Belgrade Energy Forum, sets out coordinated activities to advance strategic energy priorities, exchange knowledge and experience, support reform initiatives, and strengthen cooperation with regional and EU partners.

The Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources stated that a framework is being set up to promote the energy transition, investment and the green economy, while also strengthening regional cooperation and supporting the country’s EU integration process.

Minister Bozhinovska highlighted that creating these partnerships is a key step in boosting institutional cooperation and enhancing the country’s role in regional and European energy initiatives.

“Regional cooperation and joint approach to development of the energy sector are key to ensuring a stable, sustainable and competitive energy system. We are grateful for the continuous support and professional approach in promoting the progress and reforms we are implementing. Transparency and international visibility of the energy reform processes are essential,” Bozhinovska said.

The Ministry will be an institutional partner at the Belgrade Energy Forum in May 2026, with senior officials participating in program and working sessions.

CFS Media & Advisory DOO expressed satisfaction with the established partnership and its readiness to continue supporting activities aimed at advancing energy cooperation in the region.
