Sofia, 20 December 2024 (MIA) - Two Macedonian nationals have been caught with 137 kilograms of marijuana at the Gyueshevo border crossing, Bulgarian media reported on Friday.

Two trucks carrying ore destined for Turkey were inspected by customs officers. Hidden compartments were found in the trailer of one truck, with 320 packs of marijuana weighing at 137kg in them.

The truck drivers, both Macedonian nationals, have been detained and the investigation is underway.
