Skopje, 26 March 2025 (MIA) - At the moment, 23 patients injured in the Kochani nightclub fire are receiving treatment in the country, while more than 20 have been discharged for home care. There are only four patients at the Clinical Center, two in the Plastic Surgery Clinic and two in the Toxicology Clinic. In the 8 September City General Hospital, nine patients are being treated, with one scheduled for discharge, while four patients are receiving care at Sistina private hospital. The number of patients currently receiving treatment abroad stands at 113, Health Minister Arben Taravari said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Taravari said that the patients at Sistina private hospital are in stable condition and that in the coming days they will announce when they will be discharged. Meanwhile, patients receiving treatment abroad are gradually returning home.

“There is good news regarding the patients treated abroad. The number has now decreased from 116 to 113. Yesterday, one patient returned from Serbia, and another from Bulgaria. Today, five more are coming back - four from Spain and one from Greece,” Taravari said.

In the first 24 hours after their return, as per protocol, patients arriving back in the country will be placed in one of the clinics for monitoring.
