Skopje, 5 February 2025 (MIA) - Trains are set to begin operating from Skopje to Kumanovo on Wednesday afternoon. The journey will take 41 minutes, and trains will service the route twice a day, Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski told journalists.

During certain times of day the train will also operate to Beljakovce, as well as Kriva Palanka once the railway is completed.

“At 4:30 p.m. the first train from Skopje to Kumanovo will set off. It will service the route twice a day, it will depart to Kumanovo at 6:30 a.m. and at 4:30 p.m. it will arrive back in Skopje and vice versa. We will have four trains operating daily with a journey taking 41 minutes which is really fast,” the Minister said.
