SEC: 55.1% voter turnout by 6:30 pm

Skopje, 22 May 2024 (MIA) – As of 6:30 pm, voter turnout at seven polling stations for the 2024 parliamentary rerun was 55.1 percent, the State Election Commission said in a press release.
Out of the total of 4.514 registered voters, 2.487 have cast their votes, the release said. Compared to the May 8 election, the revote shows an increased turnout of 1.08 percent at these polling stations.
The highest turnout was recorded at the Zhelino polling station, with 546 voters (54.98 percent) having cast their votes by 6:30 pm.
The lowest turnout was recorded in Krushevo at polling station 1202, where, by 6:30 pm, only 99 voters (33.22 percent) have voted.
"At the 1194 polling station in Krushevo, 325 voters or 69.3 percent voted. At the polling station 1272 in Ohrid, 356 voters or 50.07 percent voted. At the polling station 1470 in Dolneni, 365 voters or 55.47 percent voted. At the polling station 1470/1 in Dolneni 324 voters or 51.27 percent voted. In Struga, at polling station 1844 the turnout is 62.68 percent with 472 voters having cast their votes,” the SEC said. ad/mr
