President Siljanovska-Davkova meets Admiral Munsch, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command in Naples
- President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Friday with a delegation from the NATO Allied Joint Force Command in Naples, led by Admiral Stuart Munsch, who is visiting the country on occasion of the 5th anniversary of North Macedonia's NATO membership.

Skopje, 28 March 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova met Friday with a delegation from the NATO Allied Joint Force Command in Naples, led by Admiral Stuart Munsch, who is visiting the country on occasion of the 5th anniversary of North Macedonia's NATO membership.
“In this difficult and sad period for the Macedonian citizens, for us it was very important to know that we are not alone and that our friends, including NATO, are with us in the most difficult moments,” Siljanovska-Davkova said, according to a press release from her office.
Extending condolences over the tragedy in Kochani, Admiral Munsch said the country and all the other countries who are helping recognized the importance of a swift response to the crisis.
Admiral Munsch expressed gratitude for the Macedonian contribution in numerous peace missions.
The President voiced readiness for the Army to continue to be a part of the NATO missions to contribute to preserving regional and global security.
The President and the Admiral also discussed developments in the Balkans, concluding that the region continues to face numerous security challenges, especially related to the dispute between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the situation in Republika Srpska, i.e., Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Noting that NATO remains committed to maintaining security in the region, Admiral Munsch highlighted that it would be easier to overcome the security challenges if NATO and the European Union work together on their solutions.
