PM: Government is united, majority is stable
- The ruling coalition is united and supported by a stable two-thirds majority in the Macedonian Parliament, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told the press when asked to comment on rumors that Arben Taravari was leaving the Worth It coalition.

Tetovo, 6 April 2025 (MIA) — The ruling coalition is united and supported by a stable two-thirds majority in the Macedonian Parliament, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told the press when asked to comment on rumors that Arben Taravari was leaving the Worth It coalition.
Mickoski declined to comment further and said that 78 Members of Parliament supported the current government.
"Unlike in the past, when the majority was hanging by a thread every day, this time it is stable and we should let the government do its job," the prime minister said.
Commenting on recent backlash from DUI, Mickoski said "the more DUI officials are caught they abused their office in the past the harsher their rhetoric will become."
"We are doing our job and have proven that we are doing our job indiscriminately and we will continue to do so," Mickoski said.
"For this government, every square kilometer of these almost 26,000 is important, regardless of whether Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs, Roma, Bosniaks and others live there.
"Regardless of whether the mayor is from the ranks of Worth It, VMRO-DPMNE or ZNAM, or DUI or SDSM or is an independent, our interest is the citizens," Mickoski said.
On Ali Ahmeti's claim that Albanians in the country were devalued, Mickoski said it was unfounded. He said the current government had achieved many successes for all citizens and did not discriminate against anyone.
"We have a multiethnic society, which we need to continue nurturing," he said.
"We divide citizens into those who are loyal, honest and add value, who respect the laws and the Constitution and those who do not respect them and should be held accountable to those same laws and the Constitution."
"There are no ethnic or political divisions here," the prime minister said. mr/
