Skopje, 18 March 2025 (MIA) - Both yesterday and today I visited patients injured in the fire at the “Pulse” nightclub in Kochani and I followed all protocols requested by the medical staff and the doctors. I am not doing this for PR, but to address the media and speak openly about everything happening at this moment, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in answer to a journalist’s question Tuesday.

“Both yesterday and today, you will never see the face or hear and read the name of the patient I’ve visited. There are those who entered with cameras and the like, but I never entered with cameras, neither yesterday nor today. I have no intention of making a PR thing out of this. There are just photographs from behind, and none of them include the face of any patient. My goal during these visits is to stand before you, to not hide and to speak openly about everything that we are facing and everything we are doing,” Mickoski said.

The Prime Minister said if this poses an issue, he is ready to accept responsibility.

“My task as the head of the Macedonian Government is to address the citizens through you, the media, with messages and I believe at this moment these messages are important to the citizens and that is my goal. My goal is not to do any PR,” Mickoski told journalists.
