NATO Parliamentary Assembly Standing Committee holds yearly meeting

Skopje, 5 April 2025 (MIA) — The Standing Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly regular annual meeting of the heads and deputy heads of national parliamentary delegations is taking place in Parliament, with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski giving opening remarks.
The country's parliamentary delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is represented by delegation head Dragan Kovachki and his deputy Antonio Miloshoski.
The NATO Parliamentary Assembly serves as an essential link between NATO and the parliaments of the NATO nations. It ensures broader transparency of NATO policies and contributes to the strengthening the Alliance's transatlantic.
The NATO PA has 281 delegates from 32 NATO member states as well as delegates from associate member states, regional partners and Mediterranean associate member states as well as parliamentary observers from other countries and a delegation from the European Parliament. mr/
