Skopje, 3 March 2026 (MIA) - A III-magnitude earthquake according to the European Macroseismic Scale was felt in Gostivar and the surrounding area at 5:21 am on Tuesday, said the Seismological Observatory within the Skopje-based Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

The epicenter of the 2.2 magnitude earthquake was in the Tetovo – Gostivar epicentral region, 45 km west of Skopje.
