Brussels, 23 March 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday in Brussels with representatives of member-states in the Working Party on Enlargement and Countries Negotiating Accession to the EU (COELA).

"Euro-integration in focus - a dynamic agenda in Brussels. I reaffirmed the Government's commitment on the European path and the focus on delivering concrete reform results for improvement of the people's lives and alignment with EU standards," FM Mucunski wrote in a Facebook post.

Mucunski adds that he highlighted the progress in the reform agenda, continued cooperation and active approach of all institutions in this regard.

"I gave an overview of the Government's activities towards accelerating the integration process, while highlighting the necessity for a clear, predictable and merit-based accession process, as a joint interest for candidates and member-states," says Mucunski.

Later today, Mucunski will take part in roundtable "A path for European enlargement", organized by Friends of Europe.

As part of the Brussels visit, Mucunski will meet with EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos and with Roxana Minzatu, EU Commissioner for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness. Together with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Cvetan Tripunovski, he will meet with Elisabeth Werner, Director-General for Agriculture and Rural Development at the European Commission.

In addition, Minister Mucunski will also meet with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
