Skopje, 2 October 2024 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs and national IPA coordinator Orhan Murtezani signed Wednesday the Financing Agreement between the European Commission and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for the IPA 2024 Annual Action Programme.

“The programme amounts to EUR 61.795.000, with EUR 58.600.000 of EU co-financing, EUR 2.895.000 of national co-financing, and EUR 300.000 of third-party beneficiaries of a grant scheme, in support of the sectors: healthcare, welfare, justice, internal affairs, competitiveness and innovations, energy, agriculture, local and regional development,” the Ministry of European Affairs said.

It added that the funds, distributed over three years (starting from 2025), will be intended for a successful implementation of projects of essential importance for the country’s European integration and strengthening of institutional capacities.
