Skopje, 2 October 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski met Wednesday with Albanian Ambassador Denion Meidani, focusing on the sooner launch of joint controls at the Kjafasan border crossing.

Toshkovski and Meidani highlighted the excellent cooperation between the two countries and the ministries of interior, validated through numerous agreements in the security sector, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.

Minister Toshkovski also met with Swiss Ambassador Veronique Hulmann, discussing bilateral cooperation and its future enhancement, especially the important collaboration with the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

Toshkovski said the support by international friends is always welcome and especially important in managing day-to-day challenges, reads the press release.
