Skopje, 13 November 2025 (MIA) – Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski called on Thursday everyone having proof of wrongdoing to report it to authorities in order to open investigations all the while rejecting speculation spread by the opposition that more ruling officials have been involved in misusing funds at the Agency for Financial Support of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Responding to reporters’ questions after a ground-breaking ceremony for a sports hall at a school in the Municipality of Aerodrom in Skopje, Mickoski reiterated his government remains “the only government reacting immediately to deviant behaviour.”
“And this is how crime and corruption should be fought and those implicated are where they should be,” he stated.
The prime minister called on the opposition “to stop hiding behind questions.”
“They are holding press conferences with questions. If they are so sure, why don’t they reveal. ‘Hristijan Mickoski is implicated, so as them’. This way it’s cowardly. Why don’t they help us. I call on everyone having proof of wrongdoing to give us the proof so we can take actions. I reject any speculation. Why don’t they leave us to do our job as we should, what if it gets to former officials or ministers. In that case, we will see if they will dare to hold news conferences again,” said Mickoski.
