Kocevski: Up to 15 prosecutors engaged in Kochani nightclub fire case
- Trial over the Kochani nightclub fire begins next week and the Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO) has already defined the way in which the case will be prosecuted, said Chief Prosecutor Ljupcho Kocevski on Tuesday.
Skopje, 11 November 2025 (MIA) - Trial over the Kochani nightclub fire begins next week and the Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO) has already defined the way in which the case will be prosecuted, said Chief Prosecutor Ljupcho Kocevski on Tuesday.
"The same prosecutors that have worked on the case will present the case in the courtroom but several others will also be engaged. This is due to the fact that prosecutors are working on other cases as well, meaning that not everyone will be able to attend all hearings. Nevertheless, prosecutors will be present, in order to prevent a delay in the proceedings, at least from the aspect of the PPO," Kocevski told reporters.
Kocevski noted that up to 15 prosecutors would be engaged in the case.
