Kaklamanis expresses condolences to Gashi: Greece to provide best possible care for injured
- I personally assure you that we will provide the best possible care to those injured and being treated in Greece, said Speaker of the Greek Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis in a letter to Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi. In the letter, he expresses heartfelt sorrow, condolences, and support to the people of our country following the tragedy in Kochani, as reported by the MIA’s Athens correspondent.

Athens, 17 March 2025 (MIA) – I personally assure you that we will provide the best possible care to those injured and being treated in Greece, said Speaker of the Greek Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis in a letter to Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi. In the letter, he expresses heartfelt sorrow, condolences, and support to the people of our country following the tragedy in Kochani, as reported by the MIA’s Athens correspondent.
Kaklamanis writes that he is closely following the tragedy and the difficult time the country is facing, and on behalf of the members of the Greek parliament and himself, he conveys condolences and heartfelt sorrow for the fire.
"We share the immense sorrow of the families of the victims and stand in solidarity with those affected by this enormous tragedy. We convey our sincerest condolences, as well as our wishes for a swift recovery and healing. We stand by you, and I personally assure you that we will provide the best possible assistance to the injured being treated in Greece,” writes Kaklamanis in his letter to Gashi.
As reported earlier by MIA, five individuals with burns have been hospitalized in two hospitals in Thessaloniki.
