Skopje, 6 November 2025 (Embassy of Greece/MIA) - More than 60 companies from Greece and North Macedonia gathered Thursday at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia for a high-level Business Forum aimed to deepen economic cooperation. The event, co-organized by the Hellenic Embassy in Skopje and the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, facilitated over 200 business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
The forum was opened by Mr. Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, and Ms. Sophia Philippidou, Ambassador of Greece. In her opening remarks, Ambassador Philippidou stressed that this forum is an outstanding example of how two neighbouring countries with so much in common can grow and deepen economic ties to the benefit of both their economies.
The high turnout and the significant number of today’s B2B meetings demonstrate a clear interest to move from discussion to concrete action.
The delegation featured high-level representatives from the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE) and “Enterprise Greece”. The visiting Greek businesses represented key economic sectors, including construction & building materials, energy, pharmaceuticals, foods and information technology.
